Quoting Ian Wells <[email protected]>:
I like the look of robotframework (http://code.google.com/p/robotframework/)

If there are people interested in ensuring high quality releases and willing to help the test automation effort then some tasks:

A wiki page would be good
Investigating robotframework
Investigating robotframework's libraries, eg HTTP, SSH, FTP
(The FTP manual testing is a pain so does not always happen, even though this is another area that broke)

Consider how to take a standard ISO (8.1RC1, 9.0Beta3) and set it up in a known state ready for start of test. Should there be a smeserver-automate package that would setup testibays and testusers.

Try to install robotframework on COS6 as that is the normal build system
Maybe follow: http://www.queryhome.com/33183/installation-of-robot-framework-in-linux-centos

It would be good to have one known master setup, but also for each developer to have a local setup.

Ian
