Reading your mail, I just wanted to try whether simpler user-space mips
emulation would let one run NanoNote applications directly:
mkdir rootfs && cd rootfs
fakeroot tar -xzvf ../bin/xburst/openwrt-xburst-qi_lb60-rootfs.tar.gz
qemu-mipsel -L $(pwd) -E LD_LIBRARY_PATH=./lib \
./lib/ld-uClibc-0.9.30.1.so ./bin/busybox
Unfortunately, for me that segfaults (Ubuntu 10.10 x86_64/qemu 0.12.5).
I had already success with that method running ppc or arm binaries on an
Ubuntu x86-64 box. Would be a nice tool to run and debug
openwrt-compiled applications immediately without going through the
image-regenerate + qemu boot steps.
Anybody got that working?
cheers,
David
