I use it for visualization on http://downloads.qi-hardware.com/people/werner/ben-scans/ The images with a grey background were taken from the proprietary scanning program that comes with my mill. Then I briefly switched to visualizing with HeeksCAD, which are the grey on orange images. Finally, I found that I get a better perspective and a quicker workflow with Meshlab (grey on blue), and that's what I used since.
