Hi,

in my search for getting plotting support for Octave, I ported LibGGI
and SVGAlib over to the nanonote, see openwrt-packages.git .

As a side-effect this may allow us to revive some of the older
linux-console applications and games. You can get libraries and
test-programs from:

  http://mosquito.dyndns.tv/~spock/openwrt/

so far ggi's monitest works, as does svgalib's svgatest and speedtest.
For svgalib programs you may need to do

 export SVGALIB_DEFAULT_MODE=54

for graphics to work on the NanoNote.

Unfortunately GNUplot w/ ggi (using fbdev driver) has problems switching
between graphics and text modes without messing up console input. There
are still a lot of combinations of ggi/svgalib/plplot/gnuplot to test,
maybe one will finally work :)

cheers,

David
