I'd like to say I have gotten the EFL (the underlying libraries) to compile, but e17 itself fails due to the stubs gettext and libiconv. Basically what I did was I have edited the makefiles in feed/efl/ to not build an X module, but instead fb and directfb, so it's not too much work to replicate.
