Jane,

> it would not let me upload source code

Thanks for sending me the file off-list. I've looked into this
and understand the Aewan file format situation better now :-)
Aewan suggests the extension .ae for their files. Aewan files
are gzipped text files, so you can look at the contents with
'zcat some_file.ae'.

I renamed the file you sent me to Valentineqi.ae, enabled .ae as
an uploadable extension in the wiki, and uploaded the file
http://en.qi-hardware.com/wiki/File:Valentineqi.ae
(previews don't work, unless the Qi wiki becomes a major hub for
free Aewan works, I won't work on server-generated Aewan previews...)

In the future, if you do an Aewan comic, please save the file with
.ae extension, and try uploading into the wiki - it should work.

For now I suggest we collect the comics/works on this wiki page,
I've added Valentine already
http://en.qi-hardware.com/wiki/Ascii_Comic

I still have your first comic on that page, but it seems we lost
the .ae file so only the .png screenshots remain. We can leave it
for now, maybe remove later when we have more actual .ae comics.
We will look into packaging the .ae files for inclusion in future
images.
Talking about free comics, I googled briefly for freely licensed
Aewan art, but couldn't find anything. Does anybody know whether
or where a forum for free Aewan art might exist?

I've also added Jane's Aewan Valentine's gift to the upcoming
Community News, anybody feel free to edit that page with what
you think is newsworthy...

Thanks again for your work, happy hacking,
Wolfgang
