Hi Werner and friends, How likely would it be to get nanonote to record and compress video?
Also, what about a camera/webcam for input onto the nanonote? Also, could one use both a UBB-WPAN and a UBB-VGA and/or some future UBB-WEBCAM at the same time? How far can we push this guy? If not this, what about milkymist? I have a client interested in a product to have video recording and compression from a camera, right onto a sdcard or other flash memory, and then when connecting the device, automatically upload the video to an ftp/sftp server. Think of it like an offline record and broadcast system for places without connectivity, like hiking in the forest or being a journalist in the field recording, but with no connection. The necessary ability to record video, preferably compressing with an open format, and transmitting with minimal hassles is the goal. Is this a problem we can solve? How could we? Also, what about ruggedizing either the nanonote and/or milkymist for this. Sorry, I'm shooting really high on this question, but have some very serious clients in the wings.
