Hi, we did it again - the Copyleft Hardware News 2011-06-01 is out. (I won't transcript here, because the pictures and videos are really good, so please fire up your browser)
http://en.qi-hardware.com/wiki/Copyleft_Hardware_News_2011-06-01 It's a great edition, the only thing I'm a little sad about is that I didn't have the energy and knowledge to collect more tidbits from other copyleft hardware projects like GPL licensed Elphel cameras (and nobody else did either, the news are being written in a wiki...) So it's centered around well-known Milkymist and NanoNote, except for Andrew Zonenberg's wonderful semiconductor work, which I just lumped in with Milkymist for now... Maybe more about other projects next time. Thanks so much to the large number of people who contributed excellent stuff during the last 2 months. We have no big product breakthrough yet, and many of us are on unsustainable paths, but that makes it all the more special and keeps everybody focused.
