That's even cooler than most might realize: 

 - since SVN works over network (can also use ssh as a transport), you
   can now carry the NanoNote around as a portable SVN server (better
   than putting the svn database on a usb-stick: you can accidentally
   delete a usb-stick, but you can't mess with the SVN database over
   SVN's commit/checkout protocol)

 - the Emacs that comes with the NanoNote includes an SVN integration.
   Just Type Ctrl-x v v to commit a file, Ctrl-x v = to see what changes
   you did, Ctrl-x v l to see the log etc.
