OHL is just a small detail. There are two much more important messages in there: 1) CERN is very interested in Open/Copyleft Hardware. The press release even uses almost the very same words we use to describe what we're doing. This gives credibility to our work, our objectives, and our visions. Besides, remember the Web ? :-) 2) CERN may be willing to sponsor community efforts, like ours. So it may be a source of funding we so desperately seek.
