News from the statistics department: IRC traffic on #qi-hardware and #milkymist:
http://downloads.qi-hardware.com/people/werner/tmp/irc-qihw-1011.png The monthly list traffic, in kB gzip'ed: http://lists.en.qi-hardware.com/pipermail/discussion/ Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec 2009 85 141 137 157 99 145 2010 180 180 263 214 412 218 492 295 260 132 116 174 2011 150 155 124 108 71 127 52 107 131 69 http://lists.milkymist.org/pipermail/devel-milkymist.org/ Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec 2009 3 8 15 27 33 14 24 14 2010 29 28 36 28 22 25 35 14 27 39 17 12 2011 61 43 59 81 17 48 43 35 24 78 Both #qi-hardware and #milkymist had relatively low IRC traffic in October, only a bit more than in September. On the mailing lists, qi-hardware had the second most quiet month (only July 2011 was more quiet) while milkymist had no less than 325% of the traffic of the previous month, for the first time beating qi-hardware in the same month, and only narrowly missing the all-time record of April 2011. When comparing the volume of compressed traffic between IRC and the lists, it seems that roughly twice as much of the communication happens on IRC than on the lists. - Werner _______________________________________________ Qi Hardware Discussion List Mail to list (members only): [email protected] Subscribe or Unsubscribe: http://lists.en.qi-hardware.com/mailman/listinfo/discussion
