hi, inspired by Jirka's blog post
http://jirkasnotes.wordpress.com/2012/01/31/nanonote-selecting-of-pdf-file-for-viewing/ I just implemented a simple graphical file selector that can be used to run programs like 'mplayer', that don't have a proper Gui, from gmenu2x. This uses the Allegro game library which makes it very small (8k executable!) and fast, but not too pretty :). Here's a screen shot: http://downloads.qi-hardware.com/people/dvdkhlng/screenshot/alfilesel.png Title, background image and file extension+permission filters can be controlled via the command line. Just run 'alfilesel --help' for details. Package (alfilesel_0.1.0-2_xburst.ipk) is available here: http://downloads.qi-hardware.com/people/dvdkhlng/openwrt/ needs packages liballegro, liballegro-png and liballegro-jpeg to be installed. Currently it just prints the selected filename to stdout and exits with code 1 if cancel is pressed. Might later add an option to directly run programs with the selected file as argument. cheers, David -- GnuPG public key: http://dvdkhlng.users.sourceforge.net/dk.gpg Fingerprint: B17A DC95 D293 657B 4205 D016 7DEF 5323 C174 7D40
