Hi, I completed the work on the 'alfilesel' file selector, latest version is http://downloads.qi-hardware.com/people/dvdkhlng/openwrt/alfilesel_0.1.0-3_xburst.ipk .
I enabled the program in config.full_system, so if everything goes right, it should be available in firmwares built from now on. Two example menu entries for gmenu2x are: --8<-- title=NuPDF icon=skin:icons/editor.png exec=/usr/bin/alfilesel params=-t "NuPDF: Select File" -p /root/ -f "pdf;PDF" -- nupdf --8<-- --8<-- title=MPlayer icon=skin:icons/mplayer.png exec=/usr/bin/alfilesel params=-t "MPlayer: Select Video" -p /root/ -f "ogg;ogv;mkv;webm;avi;mpg;mpeg" -- mplayer --8<-- These are already included in gmenu2x.git, but ase the gmenu2x package recipe in openwrt-packages.git is pinned to an older version, they won't currently be included in built firmwares. What other "hidden" applications on nanonote become could be plugged via a file selector wrapper into gmenu2x? Maybe 'imgv'? Maybe 'less'? :) Anything else?
