Weal or wheel? Anyway, I suppose it depends on what level you want to change this. Changing key mappings on a global basis is arguably too disruptive for something that may only be needed for a few specialised applications, but for console-related stuff, you should be able to use the loadkeys, dumpkeys and showkeys commands for this purpose: http://superuser.com/questions/290115/how-to-change-console-keymap-in-linux I've done this on my NanoNote, but I don't remember exactly which commands I used or what I changed, but it is possible.
