Why Is The Listener Package Not At Version 2?

Why is listener stuck at version 1.7.2 instead of version 2 alsa? I 
think I could make a easy action on loud noise script with v2.

I also have clap and whistle, detection and action apps off the WWW to 
try out.


I still have my existing goodies to upload... (this year or sooner!)
