Hi! While cleaning up my apartment I've found my Ben NanoNote. After playing a bit with it I remembered why I've neglected it. USB Device does not have DMA support and is therefore very slow. Also the USB mass storage gadget seems to need DMA. The Linux driver supports it, but it is disabled by default and if I enable DMA USB Devices does not work at all.
Almost three yeas ago I've reported that issue: http://projects.qi-hardware.com/index.php/p/ben-nanonote/issues/59/ - no replies so far. Now I'm wondering, is this a known issue? Is DMA for the UDC just broken in HW? Does QI care about that? -- Thanks, //richard _______________________________________________ Qi Hardware Discussion List Mail to list (members only): [email protected] Subscribe or Unsubscribe: http://lists.en.qi-hardware.com/mailman/listinfo/discussion
