Yikes.
I can't see why anyone in their right mind would accept such a license,
even for proprietary use. (For open-source it's an obvious non-starter.)
It kind of sounds like they're trying to make sure noone uses their
implementation... But if that's the case, why even provide it?

Then, taking a bold step into surrealism, "You must treat the Software
as confidential information [...]".
One more gem: accepting the license means you give up fair use:
"You are not authorized to use any Freescale trademarks, brand
names, or logos."
