Yeah, the USB 2.0 Micro-USB upstream port would also be a hint ;-) But it's untidy nevertheless. Anyway, my main concern is sourcing. USB 3.0 components shouldn't go EOL too quickly, but there's always the risk of some hickup or just someone else buying off all of the sole manufacturer's annual output. I had that happen on a smaller scale (just Digi-Key stock) with the balun twice in a row ... At least with USB 3.0, there's hope for convergence in the mechanical properties.
