Subject: [pfSense-discussion] QoS issues

I installed pfsense for our WISP router... For the most part, it is
outstanding... I am having a slight problem with QoS and specifically
VOIP. All of my hosts which connect to pfsense is connected
wirelessly. I started Traffic Shaping and let the wizard do it's
thing.

I have a couple of hosts that are behind another access point. I
noticed that hosts that are behind other access points fail to good
VOIP service. Now when one of the AP are behind another AP, the front
end AP gets and address from pfsense and the back AP gets an address
served up from the from AP and usually gets an 10.0.0.0 address.

This has not affected any of the service.... I am able to connect to
the net and to the pfsense box with no problems. Where the problems
seems to be is the quality of the VOIP calls. Is there something that
I need to adjust in order to make sure that there is flawless
connection through QoS?
