Don't allow any swap partition - CF really doesn't like that.

 

You'll need to have sufficient real ram to avoid swap.  I have 256 Mb and never over about 20 % memory usage.

Hi,

I tried to install pfsense using iso LiveCD, but it complains about the size . It wants 300 MB

I have 256MB Transcend EIDE flash. earlie versions didn't do that but: I get errors:

getty: login_tty /dev/console: Inappropriate ioctl for device

 

and PC hangs no response at all after that.
