Subject: [pfSense-discussion] LAN issue

I am missing something critical and I can't seem to find
what the problems is. I have a server on the LAN that acts
as my webserver/mailserver. I have an alias defined for this
host that is aliases to one of my static IP address on the
WAN side.

Although I can ping the pfsense address, I cannot get
anything to resolve via DNS externally. This true of all of
the hosts on the LAN side. Mail from the hosts goes through
periodically.

Also, I am trying to get the pfsense box to accept external
request for DNS and forward over to my mailserver/webserver
(which is also my primary DNS servers), and that does seem
to be working.

WOuld someone keep me a pointer to what I am doing wrong?

Thanks,

K.
