Because the state for the outbound ICMP echo request is still in the
state table.

hamachi's server and see the host list.

When you "disable" the bimap (not sure what you mean by disable), do
you have another NAT rule or direct access to pass the traffic that
goes to hamachi's server?  Can you give us a tcpdump output of this
connection?
