There's also texinfo <http://www.gnu.org/software/texinfo/>, which is a
really nice, simple means to format data for technical documents or
directions. All you have to do is fire up your favorite plaintext editor
and chug away.. I love vim in this respect because it colorizes all my
texinfo formatted text. Finally, texinfo is easy to convert to PDF and HTML.
