OK, I know it's possible to upgrade to the latest development snapshot any 
time, but the point is to use stable version in production environments. For 
now 1.0.1 is the stable version as far as I know, and it's running on FreeBSD 
6.1

May be I'm too conservative, but I don't use Development, alpha or beta 
versions in production. Releasing the patch for existing version or newer 
version (1.0.2 for example) would be an acceptable solution.
