especially realtek's! We have a machine or two with realtek giga, and they simply cannot achieve anything like theoretical maximum gigabit throughput - just google for "realtek performance problem" or similar. so why are they so popular? very cheap to embed, and most people don't know the difference when they buy their desktop PC.
