er, yes, UAC was enabled so I did run-as-admin the openvpngui when connected, the vpn gui raised no errors. "netstat -rn" indicated the correct routes were created! Yet no traffic flowed. Used "tcpdump -l -n -i tun0" on the vpn server and I could see the vpn client ping the server's end of the tunnel but no other traffic came down it! Paul
