I am using UDP. I wil see if I can play with the MTU. Currently have
the config only in the gui, and the gui does not have the MTU option.
What config file should I work on to do the MTU manaully?

At one end I have solid 1.5 mile p2mp connection, but the second hop is
a 13 mile p2p hop, and with a lot of rain lately, the foliage (tropics)
has reduced signal to the mid 90's dbm. Retries are over 50% quite often.

I've been working on this for a while, and it feels like I'm shooting in
the dark. Would it make any difference that I'm running pfSense on a
computer at one end, but using a Soekris 4801-60 at the other end?

Thanks.
