Apparently, yes. I installed a 1 GByte image (pfsense-1.2-1gb-ad0.img) to a 1 GByte CF and the WRAP booted up. After restoring the configuration I switched the /etc/platform from embedded to pfSense, rebooted and upgraded to 1.2.1-RC1 (full install update, chose the embedded kernel). pfsense:~# df -k Filesystem 1024-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted on /dev/ad0s4a 897231 172957 652496 21% / devfs 1 1 0 100% /dev /dev/md0 1710 36 1538 2% /var/run /dev/ad0s4d 3671 118 3260 3% /cf devfs 1 1 0 100% /var/dhcpd/dev Let's see how long this CF (SanDisk Extreme II, probably SLC flas?) lives, I have another Extreme III just in case. Anything I should do further to limit flash wear? Anyone been doing that with ALIX? Which images/procedure do you use? -- Eugen* Leitl <a href="http://leitl.org">leitl</a> http://leitl.org ______________________________________________________________ ICBM: 48.07100, 11.36820 http://www.ativel.com http://postbiota.org 8B29F6BE: 099D 78BA 2FD3 B014 B08A 7779 75B0 2443 8B29 F6BE
