I would go with something like that - sorry, no Hebrew for my keyboard. You have to remind them of the settlement allowing such refunds in more details.
Z. Dear Friends, I am a big fan of Dell and its outstanding laptops. Therefore, when I needed a new laptop, I immediately thought of Dell's computers. I am an experienced Linux user, and have no need for Windows operating system or its associated software. Since my needs include a strong processor and graphic card, I was unable to use one of your Linux computers, and had to settle for a Windows one. I immediately formatted the drive and eliminated the Windows installation - I did not even make it to the EULA agreement, to which I of course, would not have consented. I respectfully request a refund for the Windows license that I was billed for upon purchasing the laptop, which I am not going to use. As you are aware, Microsoft has accepted refunding costumers like me after it was sued in the US. I will gladly demonstrate that the computer no longer has any remnant of the Windows installation.
