Is there a site/wiki which compiles the relevant tidbits regarding the current state of Hebrew support on various systems?
I was trying to figure out how to get Hebrew support in my terminal application (byobu) in Ubuntu and I was surprised that I couldn't find any centralized source of information, including at HaMakor and ISOC-IL. After some searching, I found a few relevant bug reports (including one from someone named Usama who insisted on referring to 'Jerusalem, Palestine'!) and forum postings on the subject. In the end, I couldn't get mlterm's libvte libraries from the Ubuntu repositories to work with byobu, but in the meantime I got 'bicon' to work which is good enough. Chaim
