Hi, StartupWeekend (http://jerusalem.startupweekend.org) is a 54 hour event in which ~150 people split to about 10 groups, and then work on startup ideas towards a presentation they have to give in the end of the competition. In 2 weeks the event will be hosted in Jeruslaem.
It is intended for designers, developers or people who like building startups from the business angle. Anyway, not many technical people have registered so fat, so I thought I'll spread the word a bit. It was previously hosted in Tel-Aviv and Haifa in quite a success, so I've been told. I'm not affiliated with them, just think it could be a nice opportunity to share some knowledge and have some sort of vacation. Maybe even learn something new? Cheers, Itamar.
