רשימות תפוצה בהם נעזר לארגון מופיעות כאן: http://www.arig.org.il/wiki/יצירת_קשר בברכה, אמיר שגיא --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- שלום אריגניקים! עמותת אריג שמחה להזמין אתכם להאקאתון ראשון בנושא רשתות אריג, שיתקיים בעיר ארד בסוף השבוע של ה 9-10 באוגוסט. על מה בדיוק מדובר? אריג נוצר מקישור מכשירי Wi-Fi האחד לשני, לרבות טלפונים חכמים, נתבים ביתיים ועוד. רשת אריג מאפשרת תקשורת מקומית באופן שאינו תלוי בספק תשתית או אינטרנט, וללא צורך בחומרה מיוחדת פרט למכשיר התומך ב Wi-Fi. בואו לקחת חלק בסופ"ש מדברי מיוחד כדי ללמוד, לדון, ולפתח כלים לקידום רעיון רשת האינטרנט הקהילתית. האירוע יתקיים באתר האירוח זמן מדבר, מרחק קצר מהעיר ארד: http://zmanmidbar.net/home מי מוזמן? כל מי שמעוניין לקחת חלק, ללמוד או לתרום בכל דרך שהיא לבניית רשת כזאת בישראל. לא לשכוח להודיע לנו שאתם באים, על מנת שנוכל להתארגן כראוי ;] מה מתוכנן? סדנאות, שיחות, חילוף רעיונות, ניסויים בהקמת קישורים ארוכי טווח וכמובן הרבה האקינג של חומרה ותוכנה. מה להביא? ציוד מחשוב *נייד* מכל סוג שהוא, מכשירי WiFi, לפטופים ישנים, ציוד רשתות תקשורת, ספקי כוח, מפצלי חשמל, ציוד הלחמה, כלי עבודה, חומרי גלם לבניית מארזים עמידים לנתבים, אנטנות וכל דבר אחר שלדעתכם יוכל לסייע לפרויקט. במקום יש מזרנים, אבל כדאי להביא שק שינה או שמיכה ללילה. חשוב לזכור שזה אחרי הכל מדבר, ככה שבלילה נעשה קר, אז לא לשכוח לקחת משהו חם ללבוש. אנשים שרוצים לישון בסביבה יותר נוחה מוזמנים להתאכסן בערד ולתפוס טרמפ לאירוע. העם דורש, אבל... ארגון האירוע הוא לא לגמרי ללא עלות - אנו מבקשים מכל משתתף תרומה של 250 ש"ח, אשר ישמש כדי לכסות את העלויות של שכירת מקום, מפעיל התשתית המקומית (גז גנרטור, וכו'), ומזון למשך האירוע. אם הדבר מהווה בעיה, צרו איתנו קשר מראש וננסה לעזור. כספים נותרים ישמשו את העמותה כדי לקדם את מטרות העמותה. עוד פרטים על האירוע אפשר למצוא כאן: http://arig.org.il/wiki/Arig_Hackathon,_2012_-_Arad --------------------------- English ----------------------------------- Hello Arig'niks! We're happy to announce that the Arig association (אָרִיג - קהילת רשת האריג בישראל) will be organizing our first hackathon, which will take place in the city of Arad on the weekend of the 9th of August. We'll be enjoying the unique desert scenery of Arad to introduce, discuss, educate & develop theory and practice about the idea of using commodity WiFi gear to build city wide community-managed communication infrastructure. The event will take place at Zman Midbar (זמן מדבר), A desert lodge, a few km away from Arad: http://zmanmidbar.net/home Who is invited? Everybody interested in learning, discussing or contributing in any way to building such a network. Make sure you let us know you're coming, so we can properly organize. What will be going on? workshops, talks, exchange of ideas, development and prototyping of hardware & software. What to bring? Bring mobile computing gear of any kind, WiFi hardware, power-hubs, network cables and switches, power-supplies, soldering gear, tools, (recycled) raw-materials to build outdoor router cases or antennas. Mattresses are available, but bring a sleeping-bag or blanket for yourself. This is a desert environment, and it can get *cold* at night, so make sure you have something warm to wear. People who would like a more comfortable bed can always stay in Arad and catch a ride to the event. Fees, Fees, Fees... Unfortunately organizing the event is not completely without cost - we ask every participant for a donation of ILS 250, which will be used to cover the costs of renting the place, running local infrastructure (generator gas, etc), and food for duration of the event. If this is a problem for you, please let us know in advance. Any remaining funds will be used by the Arig association (עמותת אריג) to promote the use of mesh technology in Israel.
