Hi, I am setting up a meeting for working on a new open source project (license will most likely be MIT or similar). Doodle: http://doodle.com/poll/xgkghg8w2p5567z8 (location pending approval - might change). Wiki: https://tree.taiga.io/project/amitar-sensorhub/wiki/home (and yes, most of the code is in Python...)
For those of you that attended August Penguin: that's the stuff in the cardboard box which I carried around (I also gave a brief overview at the end of the lightning talks in the "hacking room"). For the rest: The idea is to turn a proof-of-concept Raspberry-Pi-based box that we (a small team) had built during a 1-day hackathon at BrightSource into a proper open source project. You do not have to be experienced in the relevant technologies (see the Kanban for upcoming tasks) to attend. Personally, I do not have much experience with making or electronics, and I have never made a Docker container before - I expect to learn as we go along. I believe others might also regard this as an opportunity to learn together. Feel free to join the project, respond to the Doodle, comment on the topic here or elsewhere, etc... Amit
