not exactly the same, and I'm aware its "corporate", but could be
relevant to folks interested in basic training (I'm sure there are
others as well), but Red Hat recently published a Massive Open Online
Course (MOOC), Fundamentals of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This course is
now available via edX and is free to all users. EdX was founded by
Harvard and MIT and is one of the largest MOOC platforms in the industry.
The Fundamentals of Red Hat Enterprise Linux course - or RH066x - is
designed to teach new Linux users practical techniques for using Red Hat
Enterprise Linux and how to perform basic system administration tasks.
No previous Linux administration experience is required. This course is
essentially a prequel to the popular Red Hat System Administration I
(RH124).
