Submitted By: Dmitri Colebatch (dimc)

Summary: type mismatch for property 'export'

Initial Comment:
I've done a quick google and found this:

http://www.mail-archive.com/displaytag-
[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg00970.html

However as of today (June 17)
http://displaytag.sourceforge.net/nightly/ contains old
files:

 Parent Directory                       13-Jun-2004
00:34      -
 displaytag-1.0-rc1-SNAPSHOT-src.tar.gz 13-Jun-2004
00:29   244k  GZIP compressed document
 displaytag-1.0-rc1-SNAPSHOT-src.zip    13-Jun-2004
00:29   387k
 displaytag-1.0-rc1-SNAPSHOT.tar.gz     13-Jun-2004
00:29   2.5M  GZIP compressed document
 displaytag-1.0-rc1-SNAPSHOT.zip        13-Jun-2004
00:29   3.3M

So I'm assuming this is all out of date.

Anyway, the bug is related either to the TLD or the
implementation depending on which you believe (I
believe the TLD):

/WEB-INF/jsp/messageResults.jsp(4): Error in using tag
library uri='http://displaytag.sf.net/el' prefix='display':
type mismatch for property 'export', for Tag
class 'org.displaytag.tags.el.TableTag': tld says boolean,
implementation type is java.lang.String
probably occurred due to an error in /WEB-
INF/jsp/messageResults.jsp line 4:
<%@ taglib uri="http://displaytag.sf.net/el";
prefix="display" %>

This comes from WL8.1SP2.

I'll happily answer any queries on this, but this is a
showstopper for me in its current form.

cheers
dim
