help me out here please.  i know nothing about the Mac or safari.  do you
know specifically what limitations safari has about javascript.  i tried my
code on netscape 7.2 and IE 6.0.

i have no way to test this.  if, though, you can tweak the javascript to
make the function work, i will put it into the code.

selectall is quite a bit of javascript, but according to the "using
javascript" book, none of my javascript is IE or netscape candy.
