as you can see there are still many issues open before the refactoring for database integration. I still prefer waiting after 1.0 for that because I think many users are waiting for a stable version and such a refactoring could break a lot of things... I'd also like to label the next release an "1.0 final" instead than rc2 but I'm pretty worried about recent changes to the export filter: it works for me in different situations but it may fail in others (need to be tested in jetty, for example).
