Assignee: fabrizio giustina (mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]) --------------------------------------------------------------------- View the issue: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/DISPL-73 Here is an overview of the issue: --------------------------------------------------------------------- Key: DISPL-73 Summary: Unicode export with ResponseOverrideFilter fails because of improper content length setting Type: Bug Status: Open Priority: Major Original Estimate: Unknown Time Spent: Unknown Remaining: Unknown Project: DisplayTag Components: Export Fix Fors: 1.0 RC2 Versions: 1.0 RC1 Assignee: fabrizio giustina Reporter: Mikko Wilkman Created: Wed, 20 Oct 2004 9:29 AM Updated: Wed, 27 Oct 2004 3:44 PM Description: org.displaytag.filter.ResponseOverride uses pageContent.length() to set content length of the response. If the content has characters that use more than one byte, this length is set to a too small value and the results get cut. I replaced the pageContent.length() with the actual byte count, calculated with the proper character encoding. CVS diff is inclued as an attachment. We encountered this bug while trying to csv export tables containing Japanese characters. --------------------------------------------------------------------- JIRA INFORMATION: This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
