Hi,

I'm 99% sure I've seen this done already. Have a look through the
archives from a few months ago and see if you can find the link. Sorry I
can't point you exactly to what you're after, but I can tell you that it
does exist.

cheers

Subject: [displaytag-devel] Paging Alphabetically

Hi All,

First of all, I would like to thank to those who are responsible for
developing this displaytag. It is absolutely awesome and sure made my job
easier.

Well, I notice that display tag is lacking one fearture that I need for my
current project. Currently, I am developing J2EE Contacts Management
Application by using Struts Framework, Hibernate, MySQL 4.1 for storing
data, Tiles for template, etc.

In addition to the current features of displaytag, it would be awesome if
displaytag also has options to page data alphabetically by specific column
data( for example, last name). This is the common functionality for all
the address books and managing contacts.

I hope someone can guide me to the right direction or may be help me
developing the behind logic so that I can code the right away. I want to
incorporate that new feature into displaytag so that other developers can
use that feature as well. :):)

Thanks in advance!
K~
