Is the sortProperty sufficient to resolve this issue? Should this be closed?

Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: DISPL-90
Summary: Additional property property for display:column
       Type: Improvement

     Status: Unassigned
   Priority: Major

 Original Estimate: Unknown
 Time Spent: Unknown
  Remaining: Unknown

    Project: DisplayTag
 Components:
             Tag Library
   Versions:
             1.0 RC2

   Assignee:
   Reporter: Seth Fitzsimmons

Description:
Presence of the property property overrides nested value; there will be cases
where I want a column sorted by the raw value of the property specified in
'property,' but would like to display something else (the sorting of which will
not match).

E.g. in a list of articles, I want to sort the title but the text is the title
linked to an editing page (specified by ID). By default, displaytag will sort
by nested value (therefore the IDs, rather than the title).

Suggesting something like "backedProperty" which will be value to sort, but not
display.
