shouldn't be to much of a problem assuming your using version 1.0
you need to configure the i18n provider...this can be done via a displaytag.properties file or via the setProperty tag (i think)
add the following entry
locale.provider=org.displaytag.localization.I18nStrutsAdapter
And everything should magically get routed through the current structs message resources.
