Fabrizio, Matt, and anyone else: Just posted a patch to add the much needed and anticipated features of external sorting and partial lists. (http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/DISPL-134) I'd like to get some feedback on this patch as soon as anyone can get some time, this is a feature many people are interested in, myself included. I tried to do all the things Fabrizio made in his comment on the issue.
