For customization of pagination and rendering of the HTML table, it would be
useful to configure the concrete implementation of the corresponding classes
(SmartListHelper, Pagination and TableWriterTemplate) in the
displaytag.properties.
Now, these implementations of these classes are hard coded in sourcecode, so
there is no chance, for easy implementing loosely coupled customized classes.
In the attached file, there is my code for improving Displaytag, by using
Factories for SmartListHelper, Pagination and TableWriterTemplate. The
Factories will have a look in displaytag.properties to get the concrete
classname of the implementation and instantiate it.
