Stefan, thanks for the reply.  That was the issue.  I just needed to recompile the jar using 1.3.   I did try to access the message archive before sending this but received an error.   Again, thanks for the help.   Gary   Hi Gary,   either you use JDK 1.4 or recompile the whole thing with JDK 1.3.  Have a look at the message archive for more information.   -Stefan
