You could wrap the display:column tag in a scriptlet that displays
different column information based on the value of "exportType".

Subject: [displaytag-user] Export to Excel

Chaps

If I export to Excel then anything within the <display:column> tags will
be
wriiten to the file, how can I get it to hide everything except the
values I
want? So not show href tags, or hidden inputs?

<display:column title="Hours" headerClass="tableHeading" class="cell"
align="right">

<a href="/hours?id=<bean:write name="summary" property="id"
filter="true"/>"><bean:writename="summary" property="hoursWorked"
filter="true"/> hrs</a>

</display:column>

Regards

Jason
