[displaytag-user] Sorting on columns with null values

What’s the work around for sorting on columns that may have null values?  I imagine I could decorate them but is that the best solution?   Note: I saw this topic in the archive but when I click on it I get: “Error forum not found”.   Thanks for any help, Gary
