[displaytag-user] Problems with export [0.8.5]

Hi,

 

I am using display library 0.8.5. I am having problems with exporting the list content.

 

I was getting IOException. So, I changed the library (out.clear() to out.clearBuffer()).

 

With the fix, I no longer get any exception. However, I am running into a weird problem.

 

Here's the scenario..

- if I do not have any input fileds, before the display table list, then then export comes okay.

 

 - if i have input fields on the page, before the display table list, on export, the top html portion gets exported too and is displayed in the excel spreadsheet.

 

The table size (no. of columns displayed on the page) does not seem to matter.

 

Has anyone ran into similar problems?

Does anyone have any resolution for this?

I would greatly appreciate any help.
