Thanks for the suggestion Fabrizio. I got one step further but got stuck again. For some reason the JUnit tests do not pass for this build:

I can't imagine that someone has checked in a build where the JUnit tests fail. I must have configured something wrong...

a quick solution to make the xslt ant task working in maven when using a 1.3 jdk is to copy xerces and xalan jars into the JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/ext directory...

I also run in this error on sourceforge cf servers and this was the only way to make it working

I removed all of them and got it working. But now I have performance related problems. I am building an application that needs an interface to a table that can be up to 100K rows. This takes minutes right now, or does not work at all (outofmemory) so I would need this patch http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=872183&group_id=73068&atid=536616 to only fetch was is actually displaying in the page. Which is a great patch by the way!

The problem is that I still can't build the cvs sources (see below) so I can't patch the sources myself. And from reading the changes on the project website I can't see that anyone else has done it either and checked it back into the CVS.. Or?

So. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get the build going? I'm trying to build on 1.3.1_06 with mavenRC1 and Ant 1.5.1
