I don't think there is a solution avaialable in any current release (I've
just had a quick look at the change log). 

If you are using column body's to do the formatting of your dates then the
changes mentioned in
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=823393&group_id=730
68&atid=536616 will do the trick.
