Now i understand a little bit.
1.the data got displayed by going through a controller class (AdminMgmt).
2. The user click checkbox to select records in the displyed page (using displaytag)
3. when user click 'export excel' at bottom of the table, it comes back to the same controller class (AdminMgmt).
So you mean I need to remove checked records at this monment?
Then I need to understand the URL parameters a little bit, so I can know now the action is to remove some records. Correct?
Here is the export URL,
http://localhost:8100/mp/handler/AdminMgmt?d-1620-e=2&loginID=&access_type=400&type=4&type=5&handledBy=&status=1&rid=&custcode=&custcode=&handledDate=&handledDate=
Does it always start with "d-1620-e=2...". Where can i find some info/doc about this?

How do you get to your page that displays the data? Doesn"t this go through a controller? If it doesn"t - could you re-work things so it does? Then you could simply remove certain items from your list and display the checked rows.
